Cheyenne and Shoan here, adventurers at heart. Whether navigating the trails of Peru or savoring the ambiance of a charming Colorado mountain-side café, our journeys weave a tapestry of tales to share. Our love affair with the outdoors blossomed during our college years in Michigan, where both of us found ourselves employed at REI.
Fast forward to 2023, we took a leap and relocated to Colorado, armed only with what we could fit into our two cars, accompanied by our feline companions Bella and Draco, all in pursuit of a community passionate about the great outdoors. Since settling into our Colorado abode, we’ve embarked on ventures acrosthe state—traversing breathtaking trails, snowboarding down world-class mountains, rock climbing beside raging rivers, and camping amidst the swirling sands of Great Sand Dunes National Park during a sandstorm. Despite our myriad activities, we’ve merely scratched the surface of our exploration.
Every time we hung out with friends or family from our Michigan roots, an avalanche of questions about our adventures would ensue. Inquiries about our destinations, budget breakdowns, must-do activities, appropriate attire, and a flurry of others kept coming our way. This constant curiosity evolved into the inspiration for our blog—a sanctuary where our pals, kin, and fellow outdoor enthusiasts could dive into the chronicles of our escapades and ignite their own sparks of inspiration to embark on thrilling adventures.
